Polish Vegetarians and Vegans in the UK
Started in May 2008 the non profit organisation aims to bring together the Polish vegetarian and vegan community living in the UK. Polish culture is very much nested in the traditions of consuming meat. The concept of not eating meat is still for many people in Poland quite strange.
As an organisation we are trying to connect Polish vegetarians and vegans living in the UK, and also reach Polish people in the UK who consume meat but are thinking about vegetarianism as an alternative lifestyle and would like to find out more about it in their native tongue.
